General:
The Cooma Trip was very successful. The Commentry provided by the Coach Group giving lots of extra information about each of the areas visited.
March saw our new term start well and the talk by David Biggs on Thomas Lord Cochrane proved extremely interesting as Lord Cochrane was the role model for many of the books in the Hornblower Series and othe sea stories. Cochranes life as portayed by David was almost unreal, as he served with Navy's al around the world following democratic principles and fighting for the underdog.
Unfortunately our talk By Councillor Tickle has been deferred to th 9th June owing to Council Commitments.
Some discussion continues re the Croquet Court and it is hoped that when the spring arrives and the grass growing season is gowing again, the final rolling and fine mowing will begin. This will allow us to establish the organisation toget Croquet underway locally in Hallidays Point.
We are sorry for the long delay in getting back to the BLOG, but circumstances have not permitted us to update it before now.
